Inkara Aftercare was founded by tattoo collector and culture curator Jordan Feno with a simple belief: if tattoos are permanent, aftercare should be intentional.
Jordan’s relationship with tattoo culture began at sixteen and evolved into a lifelong commitment to the art, the artists, and the stories tattoos carry. Over the years, his body became a living collection, each piece chosen with care, each one meant to last. But while tattoos were treated as fine art, the products designed to care for them were often generic, outdated, or overly harsh.
Before launching Inkara, Jordan founded Lead The Followers, a globally recognized tattoo culture platform dedicated to showcasing elite artists and craftsmanship from around the world. Through years of curating, documenting, and living inside the tattoo community, one truth became clear: tattoo aftercare had not evolved with the culture.
Determined to change that, Jordan immersed himself in skin science and healing research. His work led him to Manuka and Kanuka oils from New Zealand’s East Cape, powerful natural ingredients known for their anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, and antimicrobial properties. These oils became the foundation of Inkara, chosen not for trends, but for performance.
Working alongside leading natural skincare formulators in the United States, Jordan developed a simple two-step system designed to support tattoos through every stage of their life, from fresh ink to fully healed work. Inkara Aftercare exists to protect the art, support the skin, and elevate tattoo care into a daily ritual, not just something you do while healing, but something you live with. Honor the ink. Care for the art that lasts.
